I have been a mega blog slacker these past few weeks. I wish I could find the time to blog more often, but I can't seem to fit it in my schedule :( I am glad to be able to write our Saturday Laughs this week! I should have titled it, Top Five July Laughs since I haven't posted yet in the month of July!!
5. We had taken the girls to a couple of Fourth of July parades. Since that weekend, they march through the house with their instrument of choice making their own parade. Sometimes, Ryan and I join in and the girls get a huge kick out of the family parade.
4. My nephew has recently started solids. Claire is obsessed with helping feed him. My sister was feeding him pureed squash when Claire offered to get him some bread. When my sister told her that Tyler didn't eat bread yet, Claire said he was pointing at it and really wanted some. The rest of the day, whenever Tyler got upset we figured it was because he couldn't have any bread :)
3. Natalie is a little climbing monster. She will climb up on her little chair, then over the back onto the couch, then across the couch to the end and over the arm of the couch to the floor. She does this many, many times a day and is proud of herself every time. I can't say that I love the furniture climbing!
2. Claire had croup a couple of weeks ago. She would cough so violently that she would actually vomit. We kept a bucket by her bed just in case. One day, Ryan went to check on her after her nap and she told him that she went potty. He checked the bed and it was dry, but then saw that the bucket was full. She had gone potty in the bucket!!
1. We were hanging out in our room one night. Ryan let an extremely vile toot that filled the room. Claire announced that she smelled something stinky and proceeded to go into the closet and pick up Ryan's shorts that he had recently changed out of. She examined them very closely, while stating, "Daddy, I think you pooped in your underwear!"

ReplyDeleteKids are funny aren't they! Peeing in the bucket is hilarious! I have 3 boys so the non-bathroom peeing around here is out in the backyard watering the tree or bushes. They are always so proud. Thankfully my daughter has embraced the idea that girls go INSIDE. :)

ReplyDeleteI can't believe she went potty in the bucket, I would have died! But really, who wants to actually get up and out of bed to use the bathroom in the middle of the night? ;) Good luck with the climbing! These #2 babies don't seem to have any fear built into them!

He probably did want some! #1 is my absolute favorite- did you die laughing! Such cute laughs! So glad you are back because you make me smile!
